Dr. Arar has volunteered with Restore Sight since its inception in 2014 and has played a key role in advancing the program’s international efforts. His leadership and dedication to global health continue to bring life-changing surgical care to underserved communities. He is a practicing physician with Cincinnati Eye Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Eric Purdy
Volunteer Doctor
Dr. Purdy has been volunteering on mission trips for more than 30 years, beginning well before the founding of Restore Sight. He brings extensive surgical experience and a deep commitment to serving patients in need. He is a practicing physician with Lutheran Health Physicians, Bluffton Regional Medical Center, and Parkview Regional Medical Center in Indiana.

Dr. Ryan Smith
Volunteer Doctor
Dr. Smith has volunteered on medical missions since 2008 and has been a dedicated part of Restore Sight’s global outreach efforts. Through this work, he helps bring critical eye care to patients who otherwise lack access to treatment. He is a practicing physician with Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia.

Dr. Patel began volunteering with Restore Sight in 2024. Her passion for global eye care began with volunteer work in India and continues through her service on international missions, helping bring sight saving care to underserved communities. She is a practicing physician with Omni Eye in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Kuley has volunteered with Restore Sight since its inception in 2014. He is committed to serving patients in underserved communities and helping restore sight through mission work. He is a practicing physician with Sifri Eye Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Jacqueline Sifri
Volunteer Doctor
Honduran-born physician whose lifelong commitment to service began at just six years old, volunteering as a translator on these missions. These early experiences shaped her path toward medicine and inspired her dedication to delivering compassionate patient care and restoring sight. It was through this work that she met her husband, the late Dr. Michael Sifri, further deepening her personal and professional commitment to this organization.
